Hi Songleaders!

I have been a member of SLNA for several years. Attending Lead-in 2024 really helped me with ideas and resources for choir leading. It enthused me to join the committee and contribute to helping it thrive.

I lead a community choir in sunny Nelson called Haven. I sing in Shannel Courtney's choir Mosaic as well as a trio and a band. I help organise Cable Play, a weekend music festival in Cable Bay near Nelson each summer.  I'm part of the Top of the South Choir Leaders group which organises workshops and singing opportunities for our 6 choirs.

I'm  passionate about community choirs and their power to nourish and extend participants while spreading joy and connection to all.
